A 63 year old man was beaten to death while sweeping a sidewalk by a homeless man.
Bernardo Gonzalez Perez was cleaning up near his job when Carlos Ramirez became angered according to police.
They started quarreling before Ramirez whacked him over the head with a stick. Officials took Perez to a hospital in critical condition.
He passed away four days later. Ramirez was arrested at the scene and charged with felony assault charges.
A judge set his bail for $1 million.
