Last weekend, the Frozen musical closed, and now another massive London musical will close.
Mrs. Doubtfire is getting ready to close out its final shows, albeit these won't take place until next year.
It's the stage adaptation of the iconic 90s film starring Robin Williams. The plot is about a divorced father who poses as a nanny for his own children to get the opportunity to spend more time with them.
Largely due to COVID, the musical had a bit of a rough time on Broadway, however, reviews were on the up and up, having received four stars from Time Out!
The show opened in May last year in London and will end its run in April next year.
At this point, Gabriel Vick will have led the show for the entire run.
With the show running for another six months, there's speculation the Shaftesbury Theatre has inked in a new project.
Mrs. Doubtfire will be available to go and watch at the Shaftesbury Theatre until April 26th, 2025.
