Man from Bloomington, Indiana, Vauhxx Booker has had criminal charges filed against him by a special prosecutor.

Booker has previously stated he is a victim of hate crime.

He claims he was threatened by a group of people at Lake Monroe, Indiana. Booker is now being charged with battery and trespassing.

He has responded to the charges via social media, requesting they be dropped, and has demanded Special Prosecutor Sonia Leerkamp resign.

Booker explains the process he's been going through "has been humiliating and defeating."

His lawyer has stated the filings didn't follow proper procedures.

There is a hearing scheduled for 1:30pm on September 13th.

Two other men by the names of Sean Purdy and Jerry Cox have already been charged with assaulting Booker, and have stated Booker instigated the affair.

There is a court hearing scheduled for August 20th in Monroe Circuit Court 2 for these two.
