LGBTQ Couple Attacked In Hate Crime

Earlier this month, a gay couple was brutally attacked in Boston, with one man being struck in the head with a baseball bat.

Police are currently investigating the assault as a possible hate crime.

The couple reported they were taking a walk around 7:45PM on September 13th, 2025 when a group of men "began making anti-homosexual remarks towards them."

According to authorities, a confrontation broke out when "two… were seen swinging unidentifiable objects at the victims."

One victim was found lying in a car park bleeding from the back of his bead. He was treated on scene and taken to hospital.

It is unknown what his current condition is.

The Boston Police Department revealed the Civil Rights Unit is leading the investigation, however, no arrests have been made, as of yet.

Legal director as GLAD Law, Josh Rovenger said, "We’re just generally concerned about the hostile political moment that we’re in right now and the increased fear that many people in our community are experiencing."

Anyone with any information are being urged to contact local authorities.
