Gmail Outage Hits Users Globally



Gmail users have reported an outage happening across the globe.

The outage hit at about 5AM AEST and impacted users in the US, the UK, parts of Europe, Australia, Asia and South America.

DownDetector revealed there were over 5000 reports, whereas, in Australia, there were around 75 reports at 7AM.

Gmail is a highly used email service that has garnered around 1.8 billion accounts.

Currently, it's unclear exactly how many individuals worldwide have been impacted.

It was reported that Google is aware of the issue.
