Maddie McCann Suspect Alleges 'She Didn’t Scream’

The prime suspect in the disappearance of Madeleine McCann has reportedly told a friend how he bundled her away in silence.

Christian B (45) has allegedly told a former friend-turned-police informer that “she didn’t scream” shortly after her disappearance in Portugal.

There are reports of letters while locked up behind bars that protest his innocence, but are scattered with clues.

The convicted has complained about prison life and his seven year sentence for rape.

He has attempted to clear his name all while slamming police investigating him, stating it was "baseless."

One chilling letter, he berated Helge Buschling, a former friend, who was serving a sentence for people trafficking in Greece.

The two became friends in Portugal in the early 2000s, before feuding over a botched drug deal, never speaking again.

Helge was the first to give police Christian B's name in the investigation of Madeleine's disappearance.

The convicted said his old friend organised a hunt against him, and picked apart his key testimony in the case.

“The following sentences from the ‘witness’ Helge B in 2017 were responsible for all the public hunting and hatred against me by the German authorities."

He began directly quoting Helge, discussing them being at a "hippy festival" in Spain in 2008, with witnesses Manfred Seyferth and Michael Tatschl.

“Manfred, Christian and I then started talking about Portugal. It was then Christian made a comment about the missing girl."

“Christian asked me if I was still going to Portugal, I replied, ‘I’m no longer going to Portugal because there are too many problems there. Portugal has too many police for me on account of the missing child. It is indeed strange that she disappeared without a trace.’"

“Christian replied, ‘Yes, she did not scream.’”

The convicted refused to refute the claims, but wrote “It’s not even worthy of comment.”

He then alleged he had fallen out with Helge the year prior after noticing he was missold drugs.

“In 2007 Helge B sold one kilo of hashish to me and when I arrived in Germany with it, I saw it was only 750g. After that he wasn’t existing for me anymore [sic]."

“There wasn’t any conversation in 2008. Not even Manfred existed for me anymore after this."

“The point is that the main leader of all the investigations Helge B, who came free a long time before the regular end of his prison in Greece.”

There were reports circulating in 2017 that Helge was released early to meet cops to discuss Maddie's disappearance.

An internal Greek report, the information given by Helge was described as "given voluntarily and without monetary or other consideration."

It had also been "cross-checked and is considered a reliable source."

It was revealed Helge tried to report concerns to Portuguese police but was turned away.

It detailed how Helge was in custody at the time after three migrants were found in his car in Greece.

When he was tracked down, he had this to say about Christian B, “One word. Guilty.”

Helge and Seyferth helped convict Christian B for the rape and torture of a 73 year old in 2005.

Christian B and Seyferth regularly broke into apartments there.

The victim told police her attacker filmed the attack and seemed to get a thrill out of seeing her beg him to stop.

There is said to be a stolen video camera in Christian B's home, while he was in jail for theft. After seeing the images, they called police and told them it was Christian B.

The camcorder has yet to be recovered.

Police have turned their focus to the Algarve village where Christian B lived, hoping to find "vital clues."

There are reports there are two other areas where evidence could be found.

One of the areas is rural Foral, where he lived after Maddie's disappearance.

It is about a 50-minute drive from where 3-year-old Maddie disappeared in 2007.

She vanished from her bed in a holiday apartment, which sparked a massive international manhunt, and became the most well-known missing child case.

There has never been a trace of her found, and no one have ever been formally charged.
