Olympic swimmer Sydney Pickrem has been swimming her heart trying to earn a podium spot but what many don't know is that she wasn't so calm during the progress.
During a live interview with CBC, the swimmer admitted something no one was expecting.
"I was absolutely s**ting myself. I'm not going to try and sugarcoat it."
Her teammates lost it.
No one would've guessed it anyway, with Pickrem pulling out a 1:07.17 breaststroke during the second leg of the competition. Her teammates then finished the race and collected a nice new medal for their collection.
The team finished in third place, giving Pickrem her first-ever Olympic medal of her career. |
