| CREDIT: TikTok A man was devastated after watching his mother celebrate her birthday alone. None of her friends attended her birthday party. The woman is seen sitting alone underneath her birthday decorations eating chips in her home garden. @coxy.official said on TikTok, "It was my mum's birthday today - she invited all of her friends. But nobody showed up." He stated his mother was "okay" about the incident but he knew she was "upset" and "deserved better." Many people on TikTok saw the video, with 980,000 likes and heaps pouring in their love and support. "Omg I am crying. Please tell her I would have come to the party." "How heartless. I definitely would have shown up." Things turned around when Coxy shared in another video a special surprise he had for his mother. "As nobody showed up, I wanted to do something extra special." He then passes his mother a brown package with 'happy birthday' written across the top. He also asked her to read the card out loud. His mother then broke down in tears after seeing the special gift her son gave her. "For your birthday I wanted to do something different so I have paid off your mortgage," the note read. Coxy then added, "she now has more money for the things she wants." |
