A man who beat another person in Burlington's Battery Park, Vermont on Saturday is on the loose around the city.
The suspect has been identified as Matthew Kaigle (33) of Burlington. He is wanted for Aggravated Assault with Hate Motivated Crime.
Around 9:45pm on Saturday, a witness told police they saw Kaigle punch another man sitting on a bench. This caused him to fall to the ground. Kaigle then kicked the man multiple times in the head. He then left the man lying there unconscious.
The victim explains to the police that Kaigle expressed racist comments before he attacked him.
Kaigle can be seen on CCTV footage walking to and getting into his white Chevy pickup truck. This was parked on the southside of Burlington Police Department.
Kaigle has a criminal history. He has several recent incidents and is known to the local law enforcement. Police have been in contact with Kaigle 26 times so far this year.
He is known for displaying violent tendencies towards the public.
Police have warned the public to stay far away from Kaigle is you happen to spot him, as he is dangerous. |
