A man has been arrested in Clayton County, Georgia after admitting he committed a hate crime.
The investigation is on a "hate crime" committed in Jonesboro, Georgia.
Clayton County Officers responded to a call of gunshots and criminal damage to property.
At the scene, officers came into contact with a 2016 Ford Fusion that was weaving in and out of lanes.
Larry Foxworth was taken into custody after police successfully stopped him and spotted an open case full of ammunition and shell casings.
While being placed into the squad car, Foxworth started uttering odd phrases such as "I can give you a name and we can make this disappear," "this is a hate crime and this is a targeted hit."
During the interview process with police, Foxworth admitted he shot up the incident location because he doesn't like "towel heads."
He went on to say he didn't like African-Americans, while using the N-word.
This investigation is still being looked into and there have been no other suspects yet. |
