| CREDIT: Google Earth A bicyclist has been hospitalised with serious injuries following a crash in Kalamazoo, Michigan where they were struck by a car. Officers responded to the incident around 12:50pm on August 29th. The male bicyclist was transported to a local hospital. After the interviews of witnesses and the vehicle driver, it was clear the car hit the bicyclist in the intersection of West Kalamazoo Avenue. The bicyclist was travelling in the assigned crosswalk of the intersection when struck. While the investigation is still under investigation, police believe alcohol was not a factor. The intersection was closed for an hour while investigations took place. It is now running as normal. Anyone with information regarding the incident is being advised to come forward to authorities. |
