| CREDIT: getindianews.com Missing Australian woman Shanae Edwards, (also known as Shanae Brooke), was found dead in Eastern Europe and now, may have been murdered. She had been missing since July 30th, after going on a hiking trip in Mtatsminda park in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi. The next day her body was found and a criminal investigation was proceeded into by Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs. Local police already have a compiled images of what the suspect may look like. Shanae had been in Georgia for around two years. After she went missing, friends and co-workers pulled together all the information they could and proceeded to create a search party. "At 4:32pm a friend who is in California received a call from her while she was being attacked and screamed for help. She was heard saying 'please let me go, ok...just let me go.'" A spokesperson for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade is providing support and assistance to Shanae's family. "The Australian Government offers its deepest condolences to the family of an Australian woman whose death is being investigated by authorities in Tbilisi, Georgia." "An officer from the Australian Embassy in Turkey (accredited to Georgia) have travelled to Tbilisi to liaise with Georgian authorities."
