1 Dead, 2 Seriously Injured Following West Palm Beach Crash

A woman has been killed and another two individuals have been seriously injured following a crash in West Palm Beach, Florida.

According to police, a 2006 Ford pickup truck had stopped in the outside left lane of westbound Southern Boulevard with its hazard lights activated.

After the truck had stopped, the occupants left to retrieve items that had fallen off.

Two pedestrians stopped to assist in the retrieval.

While retrieving the items, the traffic light remained red.

The driver of a 2003 Dodge pickup truck failed to slow down and stop for the traffic light and pedestrians.

One male pedestrian and the Dodge driver were hospitalised with intense injuries.

Female pedestrian, Tammie Sue Olbeter (60) died at the scene.

Police believe alcohol and drugs did not contribute to the incident.

No other information has been revealed.
